Big Pony Ventures, the investment vehicle of entrepreneur Peter Janssens, has acquired CollectOnline, an Antwerp-based fintech company specialised in credit management software. The transaction forms the foundation for building a broader international platform in payment and receivables solutions.
The founders, Thomas De Bruyn and Steven Delanghe, have reinvested as part of the transaction and remain involved to support the next growth phase alongside Peter Janssens and his team

Lieven has a Master’s degree in Commercial Sciences / Finance (Antwerp) and a Bachelor’s degree in Textile technology (Ghent). He also followed the Advanced Management Programme at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. After a career as a freelance journalist during his studies, Lieven became a co-founder of PR Force NV in 1993. After the sale of PR Force to a listed communication group in London in 2002, he became managing director and then country CEO of respectively Citigate Dewe Rogerson, Trimedia and Grayling. As a consultant, Lieven was involved in more than 25 equity capital markets transactions and still is as a strategic communications and investor relations expert. Lieven also has a Real Estate Agent accreditation (BIV: 506512, mandatory in Belgium).
Lieven joined VD&P Corporate Finance in 2010.
