Sale of grain inspection company

The company provides official grading and certification for grains to facilitate trade.  It operates under exclusive territory rights granted by the Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS), part of the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service.  Its territory spans parts of Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.  The company has five locations throughout its territory, performing grain inspection primarily for corn and soybeans both in its labs as well as at onsite customer labs.  Customers depend on its services to fulfill grain contracts and determine pricing discounts.  Grain is inspected for foreign material, moisture, damage, and test weight.  FY2025 revenue was $6.0 million with EBITDA of $2.7 million.
