Evli Corporate Finance acted as exclusive advisor to the owners of VetZoo in the sale to Musti Ja Mirri, a pet specialty retailer backed by EQT.
VetZoo, founded in 2010 by CEO Lars-Martin Norviit, is a leading pure-play online retail platform for pet supplies with operations in Sweden and Norway with sales execeeding EUR 13 million and an annual growth rate close to 100%.
The acquisition of VetZoo will further strengthen Musti Ja Mirri’s online offering and is yet another step in EQT Mid Market’s strategy in creating the leading pan-Nordic pet specialty retail group across channels. The management team will reinvest into the combined group, demonstrating their commitment to the strategic direction of VetZoo, now under Musti Ja Mirri’s ownership
